Heavy Materials — Approval Required

Heavy materials can reach safe or legal weight limits long before the dumpster is physically full. RedArk approval is required for heavy-material loads. Estimate your weight with the calculators below, then contact RedArk before booking.

  • Concrete (slabs, sidewalks, patios, footings)

Weight approval required — use the Concrete & Asphalt Calculator before booking.

  • Brick and block

Dense masonry reaches weight limits quickly. Contact RedArk before loading.

  • Dirt and soil

Even a partial load of dirt can exceed weight limits. Approval required.

  • Asphalt

    Heavy material. Weight approval required.

  • Tile and mortar

Tile and mortar can weigh 15–25 lbs per sq ft. Estimate weight before loading.

  • Plaster

Dense material. Contact RedArk for guidance on large plaster loads.

  • Roofing shingles (large quantities)

Shingles are heavier than they appear. Use the Roofing Debris Calculator to estimate weight.

  • Other dense demolition debris

Contact RedArk before loading any material you believe may be unusually heavy.

Prohibited Items — Never Accepted

The following materials are never accepted in a RedArk dumpster. Loading prohibited materials may result in additional fees, removal charges, or liability. If you are unsure about a specific material, contact RedArk before loading.

  • Paint, stains, and liquid coatings
  • Chemicals and solvents
  • Asbestos-containing materials
  • Tires
  • Batteries (automotive and household)
  • Propane tanks and compressed gas cylinders

  • Any material prohibited by local, state, or federal disposal regulations

See the RedArk Terms of Use for full safe-loading requirements and customer responsibilities.
